According to a study by Modeling Agencies Inc. and the Kaiser Family Foundation, children ages 8 to 18 spend 7 hours, 38 minutes total each day on cell phones, computers, video games and watching television-a whopping 53 hours a week. The study also showed that Black and Hispanic students consume 4.5 additional hours of media daily. As you might have guessed, other activities, such as reading books 25 minutes per day, magazines 9 minutes and newspapers 3 minutes have taken the backseat.
