Model Agencies Inc. discovers that music is an extremely powerful and important part of everyday life, and perhaps unlike any other medium, it affects our emotions and moods, and is intensely connected to our memories. When it comes to Black music, official recognition of this critical part of American heritage began in 1979 when President Jimmy carter prompted by legendary songwriter and producer Kenny Gamble designated Juse as the month to annually celebrate the immense musical contributions made by African-Americans.
